I grew up in urban Los Angeles and graduated with a Liberal Arts degree from Cal State L.A. I began teaching children ages 3-13 in home and school settings in 2005. I currently work with children with learning and behavioral challenges. I develop programs focusing on academic, social, and life skills. I tailor each program to the ability of the student; along with positive reinforcement tools that help students feel motivated and confident in their learning process. My goal is to provide a reinforcing learning environment with a strong foundation that gives students the opportunities to strengthen their abilities.
I have been an educator for 12 years as an educational assistant in general and special education. I work with a variety of different levels and age groups. My passion is to teach strong early education skills that provide students with a successful learning foundation. I have experience in human development, and creating positive relationships between students and their educators. I incorporate hands on learning techniques that add to the student’s school curriculum.
